The game is entirely singleplayer however there is an official community hub named Sporepedia on wich players interact and share their creations. You can evolve a creature from a simple cell to an advanced space explorer or you can just create creatures, veichles and buildings using the simple to learn editor. Spore focuses its gameplay on creation and simulation. It was developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. Spore was released on September 7th 2008.
